Independence Day

On the 4th of July we went as a family to the Old Poway Park and rode the train. They had a big party, but it was super hot so we didn't stay long.

We decided on In-N-Out Burger for lunch. It seemed like the American thing to do :). Then I took a short shopping trip to an antique store. I had so much fun! I scored these two cutie-pie pieces for $250. Maybe not a total bargain, but I'm not all into having to do stuff myself, and these are adorable and way cheaper than buying new. And more interesting too. The blue bedside chest is for Emily's room, and the white one is probably for the family room, but may live in the entry or master bedroom for a while. It is pretty tall and has drawers inside.
