Ryan and I decided to spend our vacation fund this year on a two night stay at Disney's Grand Californian hotel. We spent two days at the parks, two nights at the hotel, and a morning at Goofy's kitchen. It was so much fun!

I made this itinerary so we could make sure we hit everything that we wanted, and so the kids knew what to expect.
It helped with the thousands of questions they like to ask (sort of). |
Before our trip, I bought signature books for the girls. We've met lots of characters at Disneyland over the years, but they've never had a book, so this made it so much more fun for them to collect signatures. We were lucky and saw loads of characters, and since I had Ryan to help pack supplies around, I brought our nice camera so we could have plenty to print for their books. We've already printed the photos and added them to their books and they really love them!

Seeing Anna and Elsa was surprisingly easy this time. |

We saw loads of characters including this bunch from Incredibles.

Our new favorite treat: beignets from Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney. |

The biggest perk of staying at a Disney hotel is early morning entry to the parks. Truly magical! |

We splurged on character breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen. Totally worth it, IMO. This was the best photo we got. These two look adorable with Minnie and their Minnie ears. Emily was so determined to buy Minnie ears this trip that she's been asking for opportunities to earn money. |
My favorite memories from the trip: Avery's first time on Tower of Terror, Riding in the front row of Screamin' with Emily during magic morning, the play Aladdin, and our early morning hot tub that we had to ourselves and in lieu of baths.

My favorite memories were Jazz Kitchen takeout Thursday night; my riding on the front row of Screamin' Thursday night as a single rider; Avery's first ride on Tower of Terror (she said she loved it, but when asked if she wanted to go again, she said no); the Aladdin play; BBQ dinner Friday night at the Big Thunder Ranch; the hotel hot tub on Saturday morning; and Goofy's Kitchen breakfast.
