My mom has to have more surgery today. There is some fluid build up that isn't allowing her incision to heal. Her doctors will also check her spine and heart for infection during surgery. If more infectionis found, she will go back to the NCCU, which scares all of us. My dad is terrified of her going back under general anesthesia. I'm more worried about the possibility of infection.
My mom is exhibiting all the signs of Post Sepsis Syndrome. I found this website that has helped me understand what sepsis is and how it affects the body. I hope we weren't being too selfish when we begged God for her life a couple of weeks ago. I pray she can recover enough to enjoy her life again.

Sure love your Mom. When I heard she was so sick I was overwhelmed with how much your parents have to do with the person I became. Almost all my childhood memories other than my Dad involved the family next door. I was truly blessed. I always wished for the same for my kids, but they did not get the same experience.
Thanks, Marta! I love that you read my blog :). Mom is doing better now and has been moved to Utah Valley Specialty Hospital in Orem. We are coming to visit this weekend.
Bless her! My Mom will be here a little while next week before going back to Arizona. If she is up for visitors, we might go visit her Wednesday.
