Disneyland

We met the Beutlers at Disneyland in October. It was an amazing vacation. First we checked in to our hotel, the Paradise Pier. They surprised us by making us the "Big Kahuna" family! The nice lady said they knew I had donated a kidney and the resort wanted to thank me for saving a life. They upgraded us to a suite! It totally made me bawl. And it made our stay so much nicer to have extra room for the kids. We also had the most amazing view of California Adventure.

We spent two more days in the parks. Emily wore her birthday pin and got lots of attention from cast members. She loved that. We all (except Seth) went on Tower of Terror. Lucy was amazing. Avery didn't love it. She said, "that was a little too fast". Ruby went on Indiana Jones for the first time. And we all went on the spooky Space Mountain. Made lots of fun memories.


Right after our upgrade, they took our photo with goofy and printed it for us later.

Cassie surprised me by dressing up for the trick-or-treat party. Isn't her costume the best!?

We worked hard on our costumes to get this photo that didn't really turn out so great.
It was CRAZY hot for October and we were super duper sweaty.

 

Cass and Seth stayed up late to watch the world of color. We put the girls down and watched from our room. It was so nice!
