Sour Cream Sugar Cookies

My sister Debbie got us hooked on these sugar cookies. I love them because they are soft and not too sweet. We usually frost them with a cream cheese frosting (my favorite), but I was lazy today and bought some premade orange buttercream at Albertsons. I made a 36 of them for Emily's Kindergarten class party today. I nearly had a nervous breakdown trying to get them all done in time, but I made the deadline and they were a huge hit! Here is a link to the recipe, with detailed instructions.
All the kids got to decorate their own. Avery had been so patient all morning, she couldn't believe it when it was finally her turn to get to taste one!
I was in a really grumpy mood when I got to the school, but those cute kids lifted my spirits. I have so much fun with them on Thursdays. Here is a cute pic of Emily and her "yellow group" learning table.
Lilia, Emily, Reese, Braden, Mason, Owen. Such cute, good kids.
