Emily protested her first nap in her big girl bed yesterday. But last night, today's nap, and tonight have gone perfectly. Yay! Apparently this wasn't such a big deal afterall.
Emily figured out she could attempt to escape during her first nap, but the "child proof" doorknob attachment prevented it. When she figures out the doorknob attachment, that's when it will get interesting.
Don't worry, Libbi still hasn't figured the doorknob thing out and it's been 2 years. I bet if she set her mind to it, she'd figure it out pretty quickly, but she hasn't tried it yet. I think it's the elephant on the chain thing, she couldn't do it for so long, she hasn't really tried now that she probably could.

I think that you are still in the "Honeymoon" stage. Just wait until she really figures out that she can escape. That's when it will be a big deal!!

That's funny. Ben figured his doorknob out and our lives have NEVER been the same since!! :)
