We finalized Emily's adoption in court yesterday. It was a great experience, but mostly it is just nice to have it over with. It was a source of anxiety for me to not have everything wrapped up, but now she is ours for good. Judge Faust, President Faust's son conducted our hearing and he held and played with Emily, which was really cute. We had some family come and share some breakfast with us at Market Street Grill. Then we celebrated by having family nap time at home. What a great day.
