My sister Debbie and I ran the Ogden half marathon today. It wasn't my worst time ever, so I was happy, and the course is my new favorite half. It is gorgeous, well organized, and because it is on the same course as the full marathon, we got lots of good aid almost every mile. It was the first time I've been offered bubble gum, red vines, gummy bears, and watermelon during a race. It was like snack time every mile! My friend Kalita finished her 50th marathon today. Congrats Kalita!

Wow Helen! I am so proud of you! and I cannot wait to get this baby out of me so I can attempt a marathon! hahah. I remember you making me run with you on the Mish, I think you taught me to like it (not love it)
Good for you!
Way to go Helen--that is definitely quite the accomplishment!!! Don't know that I'll ever match you in that regard :) Hey can you give me some tips on how to get the scrapbook type look for your blog title--I love what you did!!
way to go! You guys look great! too bad I wasn't there to hand you some treats. I've just started running again, post-baby you know, it's tough. You inspire me!
And me too - I want to know how you did your page. It's adorable!
My friend Shelly Sommerfeldt designed the title and the background paper for me. I could never be so cute by myself:)
