I had a great Mother's Day! It started on Wednesday with Mother's Day tea at preschool with Avery. The kids sang some cute Mom songs then we got to spend some time reading, crafting, and snacking together. This was my third Mother's day tea at preschool, and a little strange that it's my last.
On Saturday I got the day off to meet Emily Gertsch for lunch. We went to a pub downtown called Werewolf. So yummy! Then we walked by the water and watched strange people and talked and talked. So fun.
On Sunday Emily and I woke up with sore throats (again). The kids gave me some gifts and breakfast and then had a lazy day together. Emily and I ditched church and it was nice to have a break.
The preschool kids ready to sing. I'm sad we're almost done with preschool.
I love the plates the teachers help us make at tea.
Emily's drawing of me.
I love reading what is important to the girls: dinner, bike rides, dancing, tickling and back flips!
Ryan helped the girls choose flowers for me.
Avery chose the tiniest plant ever.
Here's a song that I love that reminds me so much of my Mom. I watched it like 20 times this week and cried every time. I'm so blessed to have the best Mom and the coolest kids. I love Mother's day!
