Girls camp is just 4 weeks away! It's getting super busy as we prepare to take the girls to Catalina Island. I volunteered to prepare the first night's meal ahead of time so that we can just heat it up while we set up our camp. Here's what I plan to make:
Here's the recipe I made up for proportion and pricing purposes.
4 (17.6 oz) bags spiral pasta (I used Gemelii Organic from Costco)
8 lbs ground beef
4 large onions
8 jars (40 oz) Victorian Marinara sauce
1 block of parmesan cheese for shredding
A pretty simple recipe, but I know I can't mess it up too much. I plan to cook the pasta and freeze in zip locks. I also plan to cook the onions and meat and mix with the sauce and freeze. They can thaw while we travel and when we get to camp we can warm up the sauce and noddles in the same pot and serve.

Gemelli is Italian for twins. Because there are 2 strands twisted together. Two twisted strands. I know about these things.
