I read a short book earlier this week when I needed an escape from the tragic news in Boston.
A Blind Eye was a nice escape, even it was so cheesey that it was unbelievable for me. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone over age 18. It left me wanting to read a better book, so I started
Edenbrooke. The characters and writing style captivated me and I finished it quickly! I took it to the gym, the salon, and read in the yard while the kids played. Finished it today. When it was over I missed my fictional friends so much, I started the only book I have left to read:
Left to Tell. It was a definite mood changer, a serious nonfiction book about genocide in Rwanda. I am glad I read it. But I am also glad I am left without any more books to read, because eventually I need to prepare a lesson for tomorrow and do a batch of laundry or something.

The story did not seem believable to me. But it did keep me on my toes and entertained.
