Kickin it with Karen

We had so much fun with Karen this week! Karen flew in to SNA on Tuesday night. The two of us stayed at a nearby courtyard Marriott and then headed for Disneyland on Wednesday. It was awesome and filled with so many firsts. I went on the Tower of Terror, Soarin, Star Tours, Nemo and Monsters for the first time. We both got to to on radiator springs for the first time. It was awesome! I can't wait to go back with my family in February. We are going to absolutely love staying at the Grand Californian hotel. Karen and I went and checked it out. So cool! We decided on Tortilla Joe's for dinner and it was amazing! That was a first for both of us as well.



The Tower of Terror wasn't as terrifying as I had imagined. But still fun.

We parked at the Mickey and Friends parking lot and rode the tram in to the park. Much nicer than the Toy Story lot.

On Thursday we were beat! The girls were recovering from colds so we played lots of Wii all day with a beak mid day for lunch and some sunshine at the park.

On Friday the girls were feeling better so we went to the zoo! It was awesome! The weather was perfect and we lucked out with the best bus tour guide. The zoo man spent lots of time with our group and showed us lots of cool stuff. We walked to the polar bears and pandas after that and Karen was excited for them. We all got giant ice cream cones before heading home and the girls were especially excited about that.
