Rainy St. Patty's Day

Avery has a fever. Ryan has a cold. It is the rainiest weekend of our history in San Diego, so no volleyball for me. But we still made the most of our day together. The girls got some green gifts from us and a green breakfast.

Then Emily and I went shopping at IKEA. We bought a curtain rod and had her favorite meatball lunch. Then we made a short trip to the mall where she was stoked to get a lollipop from the Easter Bunny and I was stoked about the Lancome gift I got with my new mascara. Ryan helped us install the rod above our couch and Emily and I chose some of her art to display. Her preschool teacher says that Art is her strength at school, and we think she got some of her birth mother's talent for it. Pretty cute, right?
