Grandma's House

We had such a fun time at my mom and dad's house over the holiday! We were lucky to fit in everything we wanted out of the trip. Two cousin sleepovers, plus a bonus one for Emily at Ruby's house. Cassie's birthday lunch. Football games. Aunt Ruth's house.Volleyball with old friends. Dinner with Karen. Sisters' shopping day. Visits with Emily's birth parents. And we survived the long, long drive without snow or crazy traffic. Hurray! Here are just a few photos from the trip.

I found this note attached to a gift bag in my bedroom. It reminded me how much I love and miss my Grandma. We had her with us a Christmas for so many years.

My mom is an amazing Grandma. She has 20 Grandkids and an individual relationship with each one. If there is any Grandma better than mine, it is my kids'.

My girls on Christmas morning. Emily ignored all of her gifts except for this pink camera. She had a full-on tantrum at church time when she learned the camera could not come with us.

The babies love Grandpa! Avery wanted Papa cuddles every morning. She also wanted to help him on the computer.

I think 75% of my photos are of baby Lizzie. Isn't she gorgeous?!

 Avery really abused Coda. Fortunately he is patient and Jenn and Tim didn't mind.

James is such a little mini-me! Jenn and James performed one of the duets they have practiced together. So impressive!

Several of us helped with the new puzzle, but Mom and Greg stayed up to 2 am finishing it! It didn't tempt me to stay up, but I did stay up WAY too late every other night playing Settlers or Phase Ten.

David loves playing with the little kids! My life is so easy at my mom's because the girls are constantly entertained and waited on by everybody.

Oh boy, did we party! We are so thankful for Ryan's new job that allows for vacation time.
