Emily used to be my blonde, blue-eyed baby. Now she has so much hair and it is getting darker. And her eyes are definitely more green than blue now. She is changing and growing up so fast. She still has her gorgeous, full lips, and darling tiny dimples. And for sure her attitude remains unchanged. I love watching her in the bath tub because her imagination goes wild.
Some of Emily's favorite sayings lately are:
- it's as good as new, mom!
- it's a beautiful day in the city. (sung. i have no idea where she learned this)
- that's better. (she congratulates herself all day with this phrase)
- i want to go to grandma's house! and, i love you, grandma.
- my dad said YES!
- Avery is bugging me!
- Quiet, mom! Avery is sleeping.
