Merry Christmas!
We had a very Merry Christmas! Santa came and brought the girls a pink kitchen and a nice kids table and chairs. He brought Emily Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, and a new soccer ball. Ryan and I gave Emily some new shoes, a new swim suit, and some books. Ryan also surprised Emily with a resurrected bunny that he had repaired at Build-A-Bear. She had nearly decapitated her about a year ago in search of fuzz.
Santa brought Avery some new toys and some baby food. She gets to start solids soon! We also gave her some warm fleece clothes that will fit her for about 2 weeks at her normal growing rate.
Ryan got me a new iPod nano. It is so tiny! I'm excited to start making some play lists for the van and for jogging. I have been twice the last couple of days and am determined to start up again. I got Ryan a new Kindle. He seems excited about it, too.
For dinner we had a traditional ham and yummy potatoes. I also made "homemade" rolls from a Lion House mix. Emily preferred all the chocolate in her stocking and didn't each much of anything else today, except for some orange juice and some popcorn at the movie tonight (we saw Tangled for the second time--love it!). It's no wonder she went to bed with a tummy ache.
I'm so thankful for my girls today. We spent last Christmas hoping and praying for another little baby, and this Christmas we feel so blessed to have her with us. Click on the photo below to see all the photos I took today.
