My cousin Neil has been helping Ryan and I with a list of home improvement stuff that we have just never gotten around to doing. Our kitchen is done, but we are still working in a couple of other rooms. In the kitchen we (mostly Neil):

• painted the walls "antique white"
• resurfaced kitchen sink
• replaced sink faucet and updated sink plumbing
• replaced grout in all counters and backsplash
• deep cleaned (Daisy Maids)

I don't hate my kitchen anymore! BUT, I desperately want a kitchen island. Anyone have any ideas on how to get a large one affordably?
