My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Author Ben Behunin stopped me at Costco, selling his book. We bonded over shoulder surgeries and then I didn't want to hurt his feelings, so I bought it. It is a story about a young potter and has a lot of moral themes, that at times feels a bit preachy. The characters are endearing and I enjoyed the book overall. I'm a little annoyed that the book has a sequel, because now I have to read it too.

I worked with Ben briefly in a past life, when he was known as a potter. But I suppose he already told you his real identity.
