Christmas Joy
I have felt the Christmas spirit so much this year. It may have something to do with Emily. She just helps me feel so much joy. In this photo she is dismantling our Christmas tree. I ignored my mommy intuition that told me that decorating the tree was a bad idea.
This photo was taken at the Zoo Lights display. It was so fun! Emily didn't really care about the lights as much as the animals. She got to watch whatever animals she wanted as long as she wanted because we were basically the only ones there. We also got a free carousel ride because they didn't have anyone to ride it. I must say it was pretty creepy riding an empty carousel in the dark. It reminded me of that movie Something Wicked This Way Comes.
This is also at the zoo, but I am posting it because if you look closely at her gums you can see she has a bunch of teeth coming in. She cut two molars last night!
This photo was taken yesterday in the car. I dragged Emily to the Festival of Trees, and then we went straight to Gymboree class. She fell asleep right away in the car.
I sure do love my girl!

She is getting so big.. I love it! we need to get together now!
every year I ignore my mommy intuition and think that setting up the tree is going to be fantastic. then the girls fight b/c someone got to put up a prettier ornament, at least one ornament breaks, a few time outs are earned, hot chocolate spills, and then I lose it. It's worth it tho - if I set it up by myself there would be a hefty price for it!:)
