Hoot, Howl and Prowl

Ryan and I accepted an invitation from school friends to take the family to the Blue Sky Reserve here in Poway for their annual "Hoot, Howl and Prowl" event. $5 admission gets you an hour and a half non-scary entertainment, some animal education, and a pretty walk in the reserve. It also gets you hot barely warm chocolate at the end. We joined the first group at 5:30 so we could get home at a decent hour.

Such pretty light at 5:30 when we got there. I'm sad my new camera wasn't available. This pic is a little blurry.

Avery with Elaine. Elaine is closer to Avery's size than Emily's but she is Emily's age.

The trail was full of animal visitors ready to educate us about their lifestyle in our area. Here is my favorite, the coyote warning us about eating our bunnies. There are so many coyotes in this area, but she is the funniest one, for sure.
So many pretty spots along the trail!
