Karen took me to see my first Opera, Madame Butterfly, tonight. I am so glad we went, but I didn't love it. I wasn't quite prepared for the tragic story, or the reading of subtitles way above my head causing the kink in my neck. I also wore too tall of boots, which caused a slew of other physical discomforts. But, the people watching was great, the company delightful, and we found a great little Italian restaurant, Settabello. Everything at the restaurant is imported from Italy, so Karen assured me that is tasted just like we were in Rome. Thanks for a fun night, Karen!

Madame Butterfly
Karen took me to see my first Opera, Madame Butterfly, tonight. I am so glad we went, but I didn't love it.
